Part of a house. Probably C14, re-erected 1976. Timber-frame supported by steel frame and concrete, corrugated iron roof. Two trusses of an open hall; the central cruck truss and the spere truss; the latter is in the form of an aisled truss, the aisle posts rise to meet the principal rafters, above the high-set collar is a king-post supporting the ridge with longitudinal braces; arch-braces rise from the aisle posts to the purlins; the screen in the spere is fixed with a floor over the through-passage forming a gallery. The wind- braces are cusped. Removed from Plas Cadwgan, Esclusham, Denbighshire in 1968.
