WEST STREET 1.

5231 (North Side) Titchfield No 5 SU 5305 6/495 II GV 2.

C17/early C18 facade but probably of earlier origin. Painted brick with steeply pitched old tiled roof with eastern smoke gablet. 1 1/2 storeys with 2 gabled dormers, casements. Ground floor has sashes with glazing bars and moulded boxed frames with cambered head linings. Centre plank door with small flat hood on brackets.

Harris and Hiscock, Nos 3, the adjoining outbuilding, Nos 5, 9 Nos 15 to 21 (odd) and No 27 (all next to each other along the street facade) form a group. (Harris and Hiscock and the outbuilding adjoining No 3 are buildings of local interest).
