16/16 Railings in front of No 42 (Southend House) II

Railings. Mid C19. Cast iron balusters in timber frame on concrete. Railings run for 10m between road and front garden. Each end brick wall, in centre gates.

Timber posts at end of each section, with moulded timber rail running between, under Rococo-style cast iron openwork baluster, on rail iron awning, finials on posts. Double gates of similar style.
