GV II

House, now restaurant. Early to mid C19. Painted roughcast with slate roof. 3 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range. The windows have painted stone surrounds with projecting sills, and a 1st-floor sill band. Glazing bar sashes with margin panes. The doorway has a painted stone surround with round head and impost blocks. The door, reached by 2 stone steps, is of 8 raised and fielded panels. The gable chimneys have limestone ashlar caps. The gables have bracketed verges and the left-hand gable wall is angled to follow the line of the lane. It contains a round-headed stair window with Gothick glazing.
