WESTHOUGHTON MARKET STREET SD 60 NE (north side)

8/86 Nos. 110 and 112 - G.V. II

Pair of houses, now offices. c.1860. Brick with stucco dressings, hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Stone base and top cornice. Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, except for that to 5th bay of 1st floor, which has no glazing bars. Segmental-headed entrances have inset Doric doorcases with overlights and 4- fielded-panel doors. 2 stacks paired across ridge and return lateral stacks. Left return facing church has large canted 2-storey bay. Included for group value.
