House with shop. Late C18 -early C19. Millstone grit ashlar, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 lst-floor windows. Plinth. Ground floor: 4 Tuscan pilasters with panelled bases and capitals support entablature and frame central C20 glazed door with overlight and wooden pediment and flanking C20 shop windows with glazing bars. 1st floor: 3 C20 windows with narrow, projecting cill band and lintel band. Entablature with dentilled cornice. Corniced end stacks. Formerly a druggist shop, when it was patronised by Branwell Bronte.
