GV II

Warehouse, early C19. Gault brick, English bond with a low, hipped roof of slate. Two storeys and a cellar. The gable end to the road has a hoist opening to the first floor above a larger doorway to the ground floor. The side wall overlooking the former cobbled yard and drying ground and opposite the counting-house of Thomas Bowyer's premises, has four recessed windows at each floor. (Probably built by Thomas Bowyer and the only commercial building surviving intact which was associated with the inland ports in the village. Part of the dock basin is visible about 10 yards North West of the warehouse).
