GV II

Late C18, early C19. To the north, east,and south of the church, within a churchyard which extends further to the south, there are 3, 3, & 8 altar Tombs, of which eleven date between 1790 and 1820. The typical form is of white smooth stone (Portland), having a finely-weathered top slab with moulded edges, the corners recessed with vertical flutes, top and bottom mouldings, the sides with recessed panels (often coupled on the long side), and with a moulded top to the plinth.
