NZ 15 NE STANLEY FRONT STREET (South side) Burnopfield 2/163 Nos. 30 and 32 19/7/50 GV II 2 houses. Circa 1840. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, plinth and chamfered quoins; Welsh slate roofs with stone gable copings and renewed brick and stone chimneys. 2 storeys, each house 3 bays.
No. 30 at left has left quoins only; steps up to central 5-panel door in chamfered stone surround under label mould; similar treatement to sashes with glazing bars and moulded stone sills. Stone eaves gutter brackets. Left end chimney.
No. 32 at right has similar surrounds and moulds to renewed central door, flanking C20 cross windows, first-floor sashes with glazing bars and central stone-mullioned window with 2 Tudor-arched lights. Chamfered kneelers support gable copings; right end C20 stone chimney.
Left return of No. 30 has small shaped sash windows on second floor, and blind quatrefoil and cross decoration.
C20 one-storey extension on left return of No. 30 not of interest.
