2. C17. 3 storeys. Brick with early C19 stucco front. 5 sash windows, those on 3rd floor have interlacing glazing bars; those on 1st floor have flat rusticated arches and key blocks. There are 6 Ionic pilasters from ground to a frieze with cornice below top floor windows. Doorway has wide open pediment with attached Ionic columns, entablature blocks and elliptical fanlight. Some C17 panelled doors inside. RCHM 11.

King's Head,Nos 9 to 11 (consec), "Serendipity" and No l3 form a group.
