1875 by Sir Arthur Blomfield. A large gothic style church in stone with steep slate roofs. Long and tall nave and chancel in one, low aisles, clerestory of paired lancets, north aisle with 2 gabled porches. Tall north-east tower, octagonal with short stone spire with lucarnes. West window facing London Road formed from 5 stepped lancets. East window of 4 lancets with 3 stepped lancets above. Very tall interior.
