WATERLOO ROAD SE1 1. (east side) 5023 Tomb (with draped urn) in churchyard to north-west of portico of Church of St John with All Saints TQ 3180 1/1124
Early-mid C19. Portland stone. Draped urn on a high square plinth with angle pilasters and entablature, on a square base. Motto: vero nihil verius. Crest of boar passant on chapeau with motto below. Inscription worn away, possibly Vere or de Vere.
