5140 (north side) The Limes TL 26 NE 9/17 24.10.51 II GV 2.
Late C18 and early C19 house, incorporating C17 timber-framed range at rear. Red brick with diaper brick work to left hand gable end. Stuccoed facade. Modern tile roof with parapet and tumbled gables. End stacks. Two-storeys and attics. Three flat-roofed dormers with dentilled cornices. Two-storey bow windows with hung sashes and glazing bars in tripartite lights with reeded pilasters to each. Central doorway with doorcase of reeded pilaster boss enrichments, and dentilled cornice.
Eight panelled door. Interior has similar pilasters to curved bays. Reeded cases to shutters and doors. One late C18 mantel-piece, not original to the house.
