TG5207NW CHURCH PLAIN 839-1/12/30 (South East side) Statue of Charity in courtyard of Fishermen's Hospital
Statue of Charity. Probably 1702. Repaired 1960. Restored by English Heritage 1987. Painted cast lead. Brick plinth of 1987. The sculpture is of a nearly life-size female figure of Charity dressed in drapery carrying an infant in her right arm and shielding a child standing by her left leg.
