Two houses within one block. Late C18. Brick, with slate roof. 2-storeys, 1.2 windows. Low-pitched slate roof, hipped at the corner (with The Dean), small spaced,eaves brackets. Walling of red brick headers, painted to No 2. Sashes in reveals: 2 angular bays to the ground-floor, with sashes, No 2 having a canopy, continued above the doorway. 6-panelled door, No 4 having a moulded canopy on carved brackets, with thin moulded panels forming pilasters, panelled reveals, plain fanlight. The side elevation to No 2 has flint walling with brick bands and quoins, now painted, therearwalling has late framing, bricknogged.
