5255 BARKWAY ROAD Eagle House TL 33 NE 4/107 II 2.

Formerly public house, The Eagle Tavern. Early to mid C19. Colour washed brick on knapped flint plinth. Hipped Welsh slated roof with eaves cornice. 2 storeys, 1st floor band. 3 sash windows with glazing bars in reveals under stucco faced lintels. Central door with dummy fanlight, archivolt with imposts and keyblock.

Pentice roofed wings either side with old tiles, 1 storey.
