Chest tomb to Sir Joseph Paxton, architect, and landscape gardener. c1865. Sandstone and limestone. The rectangular chest tomb has angle pilasters with moulded decoration, with inscriptions on shields between. Heavily moulded top.

Inscribed In Memory of Sir Joseph Paxton, born at Milton Bryant Bedfordshire August III MDCCCIII, died at Rockhills House, Sydenham June VIII MDCCLXV. Also to Sarah his wife and other members of the family.
