SP 9435-9535 ASPLEY GUISE THE SQUARE 7/18 No. 2 GV II House, part of ground floor converted to shop. Early C19. Red and yellow chequered brick. Slate roof. 3-window facade, 2 storeys and attics. Stands on corner at junction with Bedford Road. Ground and first floor windows are sashes with glazing bars in shallow reveals. Ground floor windows has gauged brick flat head. Attic has 2 box dormers containing 2-light casements with glazing bars. Central brick porch contains 6-panel door, sidelights and rectangular fanlight. Late C19 double-fronted shop projects from LH. Red brick integral stacks to both gable ends. Included for group value.
