ASCOTT-UNDER-WYCHWOOD HIGH STREET SP 31 NW 4/20 Ascott d'Oyley (south side) 17.6.86 Nos 4 and 6 - II Cottage pair. C17 datestone. Rubble with timber lintels, Cotswold stone roof. Two storeys. Four windows, slightly irregular, 2- and 3-light C19 and C20 casements with C20 'leading'. The right-hand range of No 4 has enriched chamfer to lintels and a datestone "May 30 - /Anno DNI"; entered from rear; 2-light chamfered mullion window to rear. No 6 is entered by a C20 gabled porch in lower extension to left.

C20 end chimneys. A window with similar enrichment to that of No 4 also survives at Burford, in the Swan Gallery. (HRV under Burford CP, High Street.)
