ASCOTT-UNDER-WYCHWOOD SHIPTON LANE SP 21 NE 3/23 No 48 - (Ascott Earl House) GV II Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed rubble with freestone quoins and voussoirs to flat arches, Cotswold stone roof. Corniced ashlar end chimneys, to right paired square shafts. Two storeys and attic, 2 gabled dormers. Five windows symmetrical front, late C19 or early C20 cross-mullioned casements. Half-glazed central door with C20 gabled porch. Three short irregular gabled extensions to rear, the central one a stair turret, the outer ones C19.
