LOWER HOLKER MAIN STREET SD 3675 (South side) Flookburgh 10/150 No.39 (Whitewell 25.3.70 House) G.V. II House. Probably late C17 or C18 with later alterations; plaque, C19, reads: "WHITEWELL/HOUSE/1625". Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays.
Windows are sashed with horns. Entrance has gabled glazed porch and half-glazed doors. Corbelled gable-end stack and cross-axial stack. Single-pitch wing to rear projects to return, with corbelled stack to angle.
