BADMINTON C.P. HIGH STREET (south side) ST 8082 12/53 Pair of Cottages 20 yards to 3.3.61 west of Almshouses, G.V. (formerly listed as Houses occupied by Rich and Buckner) Boundary Walls to road and gate piers

Pair of estate cottages. Early C18. Rendered; hipped Cotswold stone slate roof; ashlar end stacks. 2 storeys. 5 bays: 2-light cross windows with lead cames and iron casement stays. Central door under flat stone hood on cut brackets; to the right is a further C19 plank door under a flat hood. Low, coped, coursed squared rubble boundary walls; central ashlar gate piers with ball finials.

Plain examples of Queen Anne style houses, in a very important village street.
