ASHLEWORTH HASFIELD ROAD SO 82 NW (north side) 2/7 Stonebow Cottage II Small house. Early C16 or before, altered late C18, C20. Painted brick front, on older brick and stone plinth, brick-nogged timber framing left gable and rear, probably C20 brick right gable: double Roman tile roof. Two-bay, 1 1/2 storeys, one room deep.

Front, timber sill on part of left, 3-light casement window. C20 porch, window each side, boarded door in gable, with barge boards.

Two gabled dormers, 2-light casement in each. Roof very steep pitch, half-hip on left, gable on right. External brick chimney left end, tiled offsets, against timber-framed gable with cruck truss: corner post exposed on front. Further cruck truss in centre, interior otherwise not inspected. Said to be 1 1/2 bay house extended half bay to right. Rear wing not of special interest.
