C15 and C17. A small 2-storeyed house of two parts, the rear (south-east) being an early timber-framed structure (C15) with arch-braced truss revealed inter- nally, with inserted floor and central chimney. This part has a red tile half- hipped roof with tile-fronted dormers (2) boarded end gables and cement covered walls (except for brick-nogged--timber frame at the lower east gable). Case- ments. The front (north-east) part is a late C17 Queen Anne red brick structure (rendered on the south-west side) with a symmetrical facade of 3 gables above 5 windows (centre a blank panel). Red tile roofing, tile-hanging within gables, a wooden moulded eaves gutter. Flemish bond brickwork, projecting 1st floor band, cambered ground-floor openings and a (cement) plinth. Casements (panel above central door has a diaper pattern in blue headers). A plain door beneath a canopy, supported on curved brackets.
