SU 81 NW TREYFORD TREYFORD VILLAGE 16/6 Treyford Manor 18.6.59 - II* North wing medieval, refaced. East wing built by William Aylwin in 1621 and has this date and his initials on it. 2 storeys. The front, or west wing was added in the late C17 and is a symmetrical composition. Faced with clunch with red brick dressings and quoins. Coved eaves cornice. Tiled roof. Tall narrow sash windows with brick architraves and panelled aprons beneath. Glazing bars intact. Central doorway with red brick pilasters, large fanlight segmental pediment. First floor window above has moulded architrave flanked by voluted consoles. 2 storeys and attic. 5 windows. 2 gabled dormers. Good late C17 staircase.
