1889 by Roland Plumbe. Cruciform church with aisles, bellcote at crossing, south porch and link at east end to Church Hall. Red brick with New Red Sandstone dressings and tiled roofs. Early Gothic style, with continuous hoodmoulds over lancet windows.

Inside 5 bay nave with New Red Sandstone piers. 3 bay chancel has sanctuary lined with tiles and mosaics. very high arches to chancel and transepts, general tall and austere impression. At east end south chapel roof at right angles to main axis.

Church of St Mark and Parish Hall for a group.
