Terrace house with shop. Latter part of C18. Stuccoed brick with overhanging weatherboarded return to Waverton Street above ground floor. Slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide to Charles Street. Mid C19 timber shop front with entablature. Plain doorway to left. Revealed sash windows, no glazing bars. Flush framed sashes to weatherboarded return. Cornice over 2nd floor and parapet with coping. This house, its weatherboarding a unique survival in Mayfair, is said to have been built by John Phillips, carpenter, who worked for Lord Berkeley on the development of Charles Street about 1750.
