TW 2880 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER CHESTERFIELD STREET W1 80/55 Nos 12 and 13 24.2.58 GV II

Pair of terrace houses. Mid C18. Brown brick, slate roof. No 12 of 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. No 13 with extra attic storey added early C19 in place of mansard. Each of 3 windows wide.

Doorways: central to No 13 and set to left on No 12, both with archi- trave cases and cornices on consoles. Revealed sashes, without glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. Stone plat band and sill band to 1st floor, bracketed cornice over 2nd floor. No 12 has plain wrought iron balconettes to 1st floor and Art Nouveau pattern area railings. No 13 has original lead rainwater head; cast iron area railings with flamb torch finials and lamp standards.
