Terrace house. Mid C18 altered mid C19 and C20. Stuccoed brick. Renewed tiled roof.
Three storeys with modern dormer. Three windows. Ground floor has c 1960-70 shop front. C19 sash windows and moulded cornices added. Glazing pattern. Moulded main cornice and parapet. No 20 was the residence of Sir William Beechey, painter, between 1787-88.
