1881. Simplified gothic style of red brick and terra cotta. 4 storeys plus basement dormers to slated mansard, Nos 3 and 5 with plain added storey plus mansard. Plain ground storey of polished brown granite and plate glass. Enriched, pointed arches to 1st floor windows. Segmental arches above. Corbelled cornice and arcaded parapet to Nos 6 and 7. No 3 refaced on north side where adjoining building destroyed.

Vaulted entrance passage to No 4 with rich, wrought iron gates and coat of arms over. Rear elevation, of red brick and stone, continues late C17 style of courtyard with arcaded ground storey and large modillion cornice of timber above 2nd storey.
