3/59 Lych Gate about 25m S of Church of St. Paul
GV II
Lych Gate. 1863-5 by H. Woodyer. Timber with tiled roof. Square on plan.
4 corner posts with curved scissor braces to plates supporting roof which has a pyramidal base with small gables to front and rear and a smaller gabled crosspiece, bracing and quatrefoils in gables. Quatrefoil panels in front gate. Rear gate has twisted iron colonnettes.
