C16/17 timberframed building possibly of earlier origin, 3 bay range on 2 storeys along street with taller gabled and slightly projecting cross wing. Ground floor largely gutted for modern shop. Rendered facing; modern wood casements old tiled roofs; the cross wing may have king post roof structure and the front was probably jettied. The wing was extended to rear in brick probably early C18. External brick stack to side. A tall timber- framed wing projects from rear of front range and may have been a hall range. Heavy framing roof structure largely concealed.
