Post c1860. c3 foot high, metal four legged plinth with chamfered pier above.

Moulded capital band and pyramidal top, City of London Corporation shield cast on front lettering on pier reads "24 & 25 VICT/CAP 42". A Coal and Wine duty post indicating the boundary at which tax was payable; that on coal dating back to the 1660's.
