FORE STREET 1.
1092 (West Side) TOPSHAM Nos 70 and 70A SX 9687 8/907 II GV 2.
1791 but extensively altered. Built as the market house over a seven arched arcade, five of which remain. Brick, with slate roofs. No 70 is two storeys, three bays, sash windows with glazing bars. No 70A is of two bays with a modern garage frontage inserted in the arches. Two further single storey bays to the right. The arches have impost blocks and keystones. There is a stone sink and a pump on the Exe Street side of No 70.
