TIDENHAM GENERAL ST 59 NE 10/197 Unidentified monument in the churchyard c9 metres south east of south porch of Church of St Mary and St Peter - II Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Thick flat top to moulded edge, deep panels, with rosettes in high relief to east and west, base sunk and broken, top displaced at time of survey, December 1983. No name now legible, and on north side part inscription 'October 168..'. This monument is on a raised section of the churchyard and immediately south west of the climbing approach path; and about 2 metres north of the Mary Smith monument (qv).
