GV II

Gates and gate piers. Early C19. Limestone ashlar piers with chamfered plinths and traceried panels, moulded cappings to plain wrought-iron overthrow with lantern. Cast-iron pair of gates with quatrefoil decoration and spearheads. Similar to gates and gate piers on Tytherington Lane (q.v.).
