Offices in former house. C17, modified in C19. Local stone rubble with some ashlar, double Roman clay tiled roof between coped gables, with ridge at right angles to Cathedral Green, brick chimney stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic, 2 bays. Plain sash windows of 4 panes, not in alignment at each level, with one in attic gable over which is set a small rectangular vent window, left of bay 1 at ground floor level is a 4-panel door with rectangular fanlight, set in timber doorcase with Doric pilasters, partial entablature and pediment. INTERIOR: not inspected. This building is connected to No.5 Market Place, (qv).
