TAVISTOCK HAMLETS SX 46 NE 9/140 Milestone at SX 460 687 II Milestone. Early C19. Granite. Square plan pier on rough-cut base, about 1 metres high, with incised lettering: BEER FERRIS 2 MILES, TAVISTOCK 4 MILES, GAWTON HALF MILE, with the lettering for Gawton set in a semicircle.
