TG 2308 NW TOMBLAND (west side) 16/887 5.6.72. No. 8 GV II* House, now shop. C15,C18 or earlier. Rendered with applied timber-work to timber framed first floor and end gable. Pantiled roof. 2-storeys and attic; 2 first-floor windows C20 aluminium shop-front and part of shop- front to No. 9 (q.v.). First-floor sash windows have glazing bars (one with blocked lights). Gable with plain barge-boards has one small sash window. A frame roof structure of East Midlands type.
