Farmhouse. C16 enlarged C17, extended at rear early C19. Blue lias random rubble, raking buttress right end bay, the thatched roof, coped verges gable ends with kneelers, stone stacks gable ends and left of cross passage, right stacks renewed. L-plan with parallel range at rear. Two storey main block, one and a half storey crosswing, 1:3 bays; all ground floor windows under square hood moulds, main block, 3 bays, 3-light many-paned casements except for ground floor left, ovolo moulded 4-light casement, central gabled porch with finely moulded inner doorframe and coeval studded plank door with long hinges, Right return projection assured to be bread oven extended out. Crosswing left, unlit gable end, 4 and 5-light ovolo moulded leaded casements, first floor casement projecting through eaves. One of gable ends said to be dated 1637 with initals RS.MS. Some early C19 leaded iron casements at rear, Interior not sighted. Wall: C18 renewed late C20, red brick, Flemish bond, moulded plinth, upper courses renewed, flat coping about 1.5m high and about 50m; in length. (0. Ballad, The History of Trull, 1953).
