Statue on pedestal. Pedestal c1838-1844; statue c1948-1966.

Ashlar. Square pedestal with strapwork ornament, moulded plinth and cornice. Statue of a priest holding a child. Approx 1.5m high.

The pedestal is part of the original garden furniture of Harlaxton Manor. The statue was placed here by the Jesuits, who occupied Harlaxton Manor from 1948-1966.

This building appears within Harlaxton Manor Gardens which are on the gardens Register at grade II*.
