House. C16, divided in C19. Timber frame, on stuccoed sill at W part but painted brick to E part. Roughcast with steep thatched roof. Dark weatherboarded outshut at W. A small one and a half storeys T-plan hall house facing S with 2-storeys jettied crosswing at W and lean-to W outshut beyond. Central chimney at upper end of hall next crosswing, and later external E gable chimney. W end external chimney to crosswing rising through outshut. S front has a gabled dormer to the chamber over the hall,and window to each part, and doors up steps into hall and W wing separately. This and the separate internal stairs at each end are probably C19 changes. Interior has curved windbraces to the clasped purlin roof, tension braces in the rear wall, and large hall fireplace partly blocked.
