MARKS TEY MOTT'S LANE 1.

5214 Mott's Farm House TL 82 SE 10/43 II 2. A C15 house much re-built. Four bay range of 2 storeys aligned north-south, with peg-tiled roof, gabled to south, and gabled at the north. Existing windows casements of circa 1920. The frame forms a 2 bay hall on the first floor that originally had a crown-post roof, this was re-built circa 1700. The north bay was partitioned to form buttery and pantry and the south bay was the Solar.

Extending east from the south-east is a 2 storey framed unit of one and a half bays which has earlier features than the frontal range. Both builds later than 1512 since diminished haunches were used on all joists.
