BRAISEWORTH BRAISEWORTH LANE TM 17 SW 1/6 Redhouse Farmhouse -

-- II Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17 2-cell end chimney range with later C17 addition to right and a further C17 wing to rear. Timber framed, roughcast- rendered, pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic, 1-storey additions. Casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. One raking dormer to right. Main range has central gabled porch of mid C20 with semi-glazed door. Interior. Plain ceiling joists set flat on both floors of main range. One blocked upper window with diamond mullions and evidence for others on ground floor. Open ground floor fireplace. Oak newel stair. Intact roof with wind-braced clasped purlins. Right addition has chamfered square joists of oak and a butt purlin roof.
