7/129 Gate posts approximately 30 metres east of Parford House

GV II

Gate posts. Early C20. Granite. Monolithic posts, square in section, with rounded tops and ball finials. They contain their original wrought-iron double gates which are braced with curving pieces and the centre styles rise above the top bar and are enriched with scrolls.

These gates are part of the extensive early C20 refurbishment which affected Parford House q.v), its ash house (q.v) and coach house and stables (q.v).
