13/6 Walls , gate piers and piers fronting Manor House -

GV II

Walls, piers and gatepiers fronting Manor House (qv). C18 and mid central C19. Outer sections, red Flemish bond brick about 2 metres high, plinth at West end, brick coping, segmental headed opening with ribbed plank door West end; East end centre square headed moulded limestone doorcase with keystone, base of jambs eroded, panelled door, East end carriageway entrance, square brick piers about 2.5 metres high with pyramid caps. Central mid C19 section, about 14 metres long with gate piers at West end, pale buff bricks and sandstone quoins to square piers set 1:7 bays with moulded caps, end right and second left caps missing.
