CHOLSEY WALLINGFORD ROAD SU5886 (West side) 8/106 No. 1 (Celsea Cottage) GV II

House. Probably early C17. Painted brick to ground floor; rectangular timber framing with rendered panels to first floor left; large timber framing with rendered panels to first floor right; recent plain-tile roof; brick stack.

L-plan with cross-wing to left rear. 2-storey, 2-window range. C20 ribbed door to closed brick porch with hipped plain-tile roof. 2-light casement to right.

Two C20 two-light metal casements to left. Two 2-light casements to first floor.

Cross gable to left of close studding. End stack to right, ridge stacks to cross-wing. Noted as having extensive beaming to interior.
