STADHAMPTON B480 SU69NW (South side) Ascott 6/117 Gatepier approx. 120m. W of 18/07/63 Piccadilly Cottage (Formerly listed as gatepiers to Ascott House and terrace walls)
Gatepier, part of entrance screen. Probably C17. Limestone ashlar. Square plan with pilaster strips to all sides, that at front rusticated; moulded base and cornice oreak around projections; moulded base remains from finial. One of 4 lesser piers from a range of 6 at the entrance to Ascott Park.
