Two almost continuous string courses, square and diamond patterns in brickwork, chamfered 4-centred doorway to south side above which is an inserted C18 or early C19 segmentally- headed window which interrupts the lower string course. Interior: remains of bottom part of potence; about 20 rows of sawn-off tenons indicate that there were projecting nesting ledges rather than hollowed-out nests. (RCHM Vol II, p 131).
