GV II

Church hall to the United Reformed Church (qv), originally built as a Sunday School. 1887. In a Victorian Gothic style. White brick with stone dressings; slate roofs, gabled on the south and east. 2 storeys. Three 2-light mullioned windows to the 1st storey on the east side and 2 larger 3-light windows to the ground storey, all with chamfered sills, stone hood-moulds and diamond-leaded glazing. A raised stone band below the 1st storey windows. A doorway with a 2-light window above and a plank door with raised pilaster strips. Two 2-light and one single-light window in the same style on the south front and 2 doorways, one C20. An ornamental ventilation grille in the apex of each gable.
